Robert C. Wee

Areas of Practice

Robert Wee, a Lancaster County native, graduated from Penn Manor High School in 1978, magna cum laude from West Chester University in 1982 and The Dickinson School of Law in 1982. Robert then served on active duty as a Captain in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corp as a prosecutor in Germany. Robert then served as a defense attorney for the U.S. Army Trial Defense Service, defending soldiers in Turkey, Greece, and Italy. Robert was next assigned to the United States Army Defense Appellate Division in Washington D.C. where he served as appellate counsel for soldiers in criminal appeals. Robert returned home to Lancaster in 1990 and has been engaged exclusively in the private practice of criminal law.

Robert is a member of the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations as well as the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1985 and is admitted to practice before all state courts of Pennsylvania, as well as the Middle and Eastern Federal District Courts of Pennsylvania, the Military Court of Review, the Military Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Robert is a Past President of the Lancaster Bar Association and a Court-appointed Chairman of the Lancaster Arbitration Panel. He previously served as one of Lancaster’s Representatives to the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and on the Board of Directors for The Lancaster Bar Association and MidPenn Legal Services. Robert also taught trial advocacy as an adjunct professor for the Widener University School of Law.

Robert retired from practicing law in December 2023.
