McMahon & Winters partner, Michael T. Winters, was recently named to the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PACDL).
PACDL members consist primarily of attorneys admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania who are actively engaged in the defense of criminal cases. Members of PACDL include some of the most experienced and sought-after criminal defense lawyers in the Commonwealth.
PACDL strives to protect and insure by rule of law, those individual rights guaranteed by the Pennsylvania and United States Constitutions and to encourage cooperation among lawyers engaged in the furtherance of such objectives. They do this through educational programs and other assistance as well as promoting the study and research in the criminal justice system and related disciplines.
PACDL offers lectures, seminars, and publications to advance the knowledge of the law as it relates to the practice of criminal defense including fostering periodic educational meetings of defense lawyers and providing a forum for material exchange of information regarding the administration of criminal justice.
Mike has been representing people charged with crimes for nearly 20 years. He has been a member of PACDL since he began practicing law after receiving his law degree from the Temple University, Beasley School of Law in 1996. There, he concentrated his studies in the Trial Advocacy program, consistently regarded as one of the best Trial Advocacy programs in the United States. He has extensive litigation and courtroom experience as well as experience before a variety of administrative bodies, including representing clients with professional licensing issues.
We are pleased that Mike will continue working for justice and promoting the integrity of the profession while serving as a Board Director for PACDL.
