Sarah A. Groody
Sarah Groody grew up in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of West Chester University, where she graduated magna cum laude. Sarah attended Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, a full, three-year scholarship.
During law school, Sarah completed several internships. She worked for both the Schuylkill County Public Defender’s Office, as well as the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office. During her last year of law school, Sarah worked as a student attorney for the civil justice clinic at Villanova. While she worked at the clinic, Sarah was able to represent indigent clients on a variety of civil matters.
Upon graduating law school, Sarah worked as a law clerk for the Honorable James P. Goodman. As a law clerk, she was able to work on different family law issues which inspired her to practice family law.
Sarah is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Schuylkill County Bar Association, as well as the Lancaster County Bar Association.
When she is not practicing, Sarah enjoys being active and spending time with her family.
