Lancaster Law Group Relocates to Historic Franciscus-Pinkerton House Downtown
LANCASTER – The Lancaster Law Group recently purchased the historic Franciscus-Pinkerton House in downtown Lancaster, which will serve as its new office space. The original building was constructed in the early 1760s. Lancaster Law Group moved into the building May 1, 2022 where they will continue to represent their valued clients in their times of need.

Our new location provides ample space for our growing practice while allowing us to better serve our clients,” stated Lancaster Law Group attorney and partner Joe McMahon. “We look forward to continuing to provide our clients with counsel and aggressive representation to solve their legal issues.”
The historic Franciscus-Pinkerton House is located just two blocks from Penn Square at 110-112 E. King St., Lancaster. The 3,370 square foot building has an updated and restored exterior and interior. Prior to being purchased by Lancaster Law Group, the historic home served as an office space with a retail storefront on the main floor.
The Franciscus-Pinkerton House was purchased by Henry Pinkerton in 1790. Pinkerton served as a captain in the Revolutionary War and amassed several properties in Lancaster after the war and his marriage to Elizabeth Franciscus. The East King Street property – that now serves as the office of Lancaster Law Group – belonged to his wife Elizabeth’s parents, Ludwig Christopher “Stopfel” Franciscus and Anna Maria Margaretha Stiegellitz. At that time, the home was situated between what was then Demuth’s Store and a Lutheran Church.
